A request to Reza Shahabi to end his hunger strike
We have been informed that a member of the board of directors of the Syndicate of Workers of Tehran and Suburbs Bus Company who has been arrested on 12 June, 2010 and currently in the Evin prison has gone on dry hunger strike since 4 December, 2010 to protest that his case is not looked into by the authorities. His life is now seriously endangered.
We undersign are supporting his full fundamental workers’ rights, we are asking him to end his hunger strike for sake of his health, he can pursue his case in other ways.
